Hello!

Another classic "moved to Whistler and never left"

I'm a local graphic designer with a passion for art and all things creative. I've always been 'making things' but never really had a style that I called 'mine' until this project of wood pieces. The overall idea spawned from a desire to weave with textiles, a love for wood, an interest in pennant flags, and access to some cool printing equipment.

I create digital drawings inspired by skiing, snowboarding, biking, surfing, climbing, backcountry, and mountain culture - with a preference for simplicity, imperfect lines, and a bit of silly. I draw mostly from photos because I like photography, I like composition and I enjoy the challenge of choosing which details to include, omit, or change. I also really enjoy working with shapes, patterns, and making aztec like designs.

My art includes UV printed CNC cut 1/2" baltic birch plywood wall hangings. I source the wood from Squamish, I print them locally myself at my place of work - Cutting Edge Signs. And I finish them at home with merino wool, leather, gems, rocks, or yarn details.

I'm always looking for my next creative adventure and a way to give back! I have a few art prints that I donate part of the proceeds to WORCA - Whistler Off Road Cycling Association.

Please consider making donations to support our awesome trail networks or give them a hand on trail maintenance days if you're in town.

Thanks for checking out my work!
